About
Louise Linea is a Copenhagen-based painter working between figuration and abstraction. Educated at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design (KADK), her practice centers on structure, color, and the human figure.
Her practice combines simplified figuration with a deliberate use of color. Figures emerge within constructed color fields that operate as spatial structures rather than descriptive backgrounds. Within these frameworks, the body functions as both a compositional and psychological element. Form and color articulate a tension between surface and depth, control and dissolution.
